Early American country ladder back side chair. New England, circa 1740. This gracefully simple sturdy country chair retains its original turned spindles, rush seat and early finish. Measures 41 inches to the top back and 16 inches to the seat.
Matched pair of Salterini wrought iron plant rack displays. This wonderful pair of Salterini furniture stands each measures 33 and one inches high to the top of its handle. The first shelf measures 16 and one half inches wide by 8 and one quarter inches deep and is 14 inches off the floor. The second shelf is 8 and one quarter inches square and is 29 inches from the floor. The pair is in excellent condition with original Salterini label and hand made tiles. Salterini wrought iron furniture is highly collected because of the extreme quality and care that was taken when it was made. Salterini was from Italy and became one of the best wrought iron furniture makers of his day.
Pair Louis XVI style armchairs in pink/blue stripe. This pair of French chairs are hand carved from French walnut.The wood, frame and carving are all in excellent condition. The fabric should be changed. C1880. Each chair measures 36 inches high to top of back, 16 and one half inches to the seat, 24 inches wide at arms and 23 inches deep overall.
Early English oak coachman's bench. This period English oak country bench with arms has five tombstone panels set into its back. The entire piece is put together with wood pins. The later seat is a replacement for the old rush. Measures 73 inches wide by 25 inches deep and 40 inches to the top of its back. This is the best English bench from this period we have ever handled. This bench retains its original finish, is strong and in wonderful condition. Early American country pine work table with sliding drawer c1830. This early country furniture piece has two wide top boards and original finish. Measures 60 inches wide by 30 inches deep and 30 inches high. The drawer measures 5 and one half inches high by 40 inches wide and is quite unusual because it slides through on either side on wood rollers. Deep rich old patina.
