Kazak wool rug, blue field with geometrics war motifs, 4' 5" x 2' 10". This Afghan carpet was woven in 2001 by a female weaver. Subtle army jeeps can be seen woven into the rugs design.This rug and others like it were consigned to us by an academic directly connected to the womens rights movement in Afghanistan.
