This wonderful image by "Isabel Pons" is entitled Love Story. It is number one out of a series of ten. Isabel Pons was born in Barcelona Spain in 1912 and came to Brazil in 1948. She died in 2002.The frame measures 28 inches by 25 inches and the print measures 18 by 21 inches. Excellent condition. Signed lower right. Echo Four Masted Barkentine by Richetti c1932 Item # 5113 Click HERE to inquire about this item Echo Four Masted Barkentine by Richetti c1932. This watercolour depicts the Echo, a four masted barkentine of 707 tons and 950 M capacity, built at North Bend, Ore., in 1896 by and for the Simpson Lumber Co. In 1916 she was taken over by A. F. Thane and C., San Franciso and was sold by them in February, 1923, to Robert Purdie, San Francisco. She arrived in San Francisco in February, 1924, with a part cargo of copra from Tonga, and was then laid up. A few years later she was sold to become a floating home at Sausalito; but her owner moved to the Galilee about 1935, and there is not much left of the Echo now.
