The frame measures 20 and one quarter inches by 24 and one half inches. The painting measures 11 by 16 inches. Excellent original condition. Zvi Raphaeli, painter and rabbi, was born in Egypt in 1924, and died in 2005. He was educated in Paris from age 3. He studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. He was a member of the French resistance during WW II. He lived in Israel and the USA.
