"Antique Watercolor" Painting... signed Gamy measures 26 inches tall by 34 inches wide outside of the frame and the image of this signed Gamy watercolor measures 16 inches tall by 24 inches wide. This is a wonderful depiction of the Autombile coming into our way of life in the early 20th century. This automobile watercolor shows a gentleman in his car, wearing what appears to be a leather helmet and goggles. Signed and dated.This automobile watercolor is on the fringe of becoming an 'antique', or being at least 100 years old.

Antique Oil painting on Canvas by Emiliano Di Caval Canti.(Emiliano Di Caval Canti) Brazilian born in Rio de Janeiro in 1897 died 1967 Small format oil painting by Brazillian artist Emiliano Di Caval Canti. Emiliano painted in France, and exhibited in the modernist salons. Emiliano DiCavalCanti is one of the few Latin American artists well known outside of South America.This painting measures 13 and one half inches by 10 and one half inches. See Latin American Artists Signatures and Monograms Colonial Era to 1996 by John Castagano page 198 for a large biography with more information on the artist.The condition is very good with no repairs,cracks or damage of any kind.

Antique Early French Portrait of a beautiful woman. This pastel by Charles Fournier was painted in France during the early 19th century. Extremely well executed with wonderful detail.The frame measures 18 inches wide by 20 inches high and the image inside the frame measures 13 inches high by 11 inches wide. The back ground is quite wonderful showing houses in the distant hills. Exhibited au Slon de Paris 1833 and 1850. See Benezit page 464 Signed on the base of the urn on left.

"Jennie M Burr" This antique pencil drawing by Jennie Burr measures 23 and five eighths inches wide by 17 and five eighths inches high outside the frame. The image of this pencil drawing by Jennie Burr measures 17 and one half inches wide by 11 and one half inches high, inside the mat, within the frame. Fannie and Jennie Burr. 1872 to 1961 and 1858 to 1931. They were 2 of 5 children born into Monroe, CT's most prominent family. Their father was a very successful farmer. Although the 2 sisters were 14 years apart, they were close. Fannie began to draw as a child. She later attended and graduated from the Yale School of Fine Arts. After that, she studied at the Art Students League in NYC. These accomplishments were very rare for a young woman in those days. List in Who Was Who in American Art by Falk. Exhibition at the New Britain Museum of American Art New Britain CT. Catalogue of work produced by The Connecticut Gallery Inc.
