Gnadenbild Unserer Lieben Frau Von Der Immerwährenden Hilfe translates to Our Lady of Perpetual Help (or Our Lady of Perpetual Succour/ Succor or "Sancta Mater de Perpetuo Succursu." The plaque measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches. The early wood shadowbox frame measures 12.5 inches high by 10.75 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. The seal was broken in 2 places. The inner frame appears to be gilt silver and is of or near the period.
