- - - - - - - - | Antique Poertzel Art Deco Sculpture Item # 3149 Click HERE to inquire about this item The sculpture has some minor damage--the 2 rings on the back of the dogs collars have been broken off and the tongue of 1 of the dogs has been broken (not noticeable unless you know to look). There has been some restoration done on the dogs collars, and the marble base has been reinforced inside with fiberglass mat and new machine screws at the same time. This piece is quite large and heavy. The base is 27 and one half inches by 11 and one quarter inches. The lady stands 21 one quarter inches from head to toe. The dogs are between 10 inches and 11 inches tall. The ivory is in mint condition with no cracks or repairs. The ivory is very white and if you look very closely you can see the growth rings. I would approximate the weight of this sculpture to be about 60 to 70 lbs.
