19th century polychrome carved crucifix Item # 5842 Click HERE to inquire about this item 19th century polychrome carved wood crucifix or santo. The Virgin Mary in red and blue robes prays at the base of the cross. The body of Jesus and the halos of both figures are worn gold leaf. Origin unknown, but probably Mexican or South American. Spanish carved painted figure of San Ramon 18th c Item # 5933 Click HERE to inquire about this item 18th century Spanish carved wood figure of San Ramon, patron saint of lawyers. He was born in Penedes, near Barcelona, in 1175, and died in 1275. He was canonized in 1601.The figure retains its original painted and gilded surface with beautifully carved drapery.
