French silver gilt strawberry servers circa 1840 in their original shagreen and velvet case. Made from 800 silver with gold wash. Both pieces hallmarked at the top of the handle. Excellent original condition. The box measures 11 x 7.5 inches. The two serving pieces measure 9.5 and 8.5 inches long. The box bears a paper pantry label reading "Service a fraises".
