American Sheraton period mahogany "D end" dining table. Circa 1810 to 1820. It measures 47 inches wide by 47 inches long and is 29.5 inches high. Each leaf measures 20.75 inches long. When the table is fully extended it is 88 inches long. Both leaves must be raised to extend the table. Very good original condition. The legs are slim fluted tapers. This is a very versatile form because the table can be separated from the ends which can be used as two servers.
