Antique New England cherry drop leaf table with swing legs, table circa 1810-1825. The table was all hand made from solid cherry boards. It has a dovetailed skirt and knuckle-arm swing-out legs with wooden pin joinery. Swing leg tables are easier to sit at than gate leg tables because the legs can angle to accommodate different chair sizes. This table easily seats 6 people. It measures 42 inches long x 16 inches deep x 29 inches high, with two 14 inch leaves. Excellent condition.
