Early Eldred Wheeler porringer corner tea table in solid maple. Note the two-board chamfered top, handmade wooden pins, and early EW stamped into the underside. Even the skirt edges are all hand tooled (please see detail images). This table was crafted to copy its 18th century American counterpart. Original paper label on the underside for the Eldred Wheeler Shop, 60 Sharp Street, Hingham, MA. Dimensions: 26" H x 33" L x 23" W. This table is pictured in "Eldred Wheeler: A Collector's Guide" by Emmet W. Eldred, page 225S.
