Dimes Benchmark" on reverse. The Dimes Benchmark line was their most expensive line, the best of the best, copied from the finest examples of period American Furniture. Dimensions of each: 20" wide x 16" deep x 27" high. Pristine condition.

Two Eldred Wheeler tiger maple tables in Queen Anne style

Assembled pair of Eldred Wheeler tiger maple tables in the Queen Anne style, circa 1990. One table is signed by both Emmett Eldred and Bill Wheeler on the label underneath, and the other table has a label that is unsigned. Exceptional hand craftsmanship, fine delicate legs with pronounced knees, pad feet, cut out side skirt, wooden pins and knuckle arm swing out legs. Measures 27.5 inches high, 28 inches long, 10.25 inches wide with leaves down, and 30 inches wide with leaves up. Eldred Wheeler was established in 1977 and is no longer in business. In its day the company made the finest copies of authentic Early American furniture. Please see "Eldred Wheeler / A Collector's Guide" by Emmett W. Eldred, page 225, for reference to this table. Eldred Wheeler made the finest reproductions of period American furniture.

Early American figured maple stand circa 1820. This is a very unusual stand featuring a flame birch top, solid bird's eye maple (not veneered) drawer fronts, clear maple and tiger maple. The two drawers have chamfered drawer bottoms, wide hand-cut dovetails and period solid brass pulls. The smaller top drawer has a compartmented top. All hand made wooden pin construction. Measures 28.25" high x 23.5" wide x 18" deep.

American Federal period dining table circa 1830. Unusual swing legs that allow for flexible seating. The top and each drop leaf are made from extraordinary SINGLE figured San Domingo mahogany boards. Measures 43 inches long, 29.5 inches high, 23 inches wide with two 22 inch drop leaves. Total measurement when both leaves are up is 87 inches long by 43 inches wide.

David LeFort tiger maple tea table with candle slides. Queen Anne style with scalloped skirt, two-board top and strong all over tiger maple grain. David Lefort crafted the finest reproductions of period American antiques. He worked for Eldred Wheeler for years before starting out on his own. This table was produced in 1990. He was located at 293 Water Street in Hanover Mass. Measures 26.75 inches high to the molding, 26 inches high to the surface, 28 inches long and 18 inches wide.
