Georgian silver sugar tongs London 1808 J Beadnall

Georgian sterling silver sugar tongs. Hallmarked London 1808-09 John Beadnall. Lovely feather edge. Excellent original condition. Measuring 5.5 inches long and weighing 1.3 ounces.

French treen inkwell with part of the original label. Circa 1900. Very good condition. Height 4.75 inches.

Blue and white Staffordshire pitcher in Chinoiserie pattern

Staffordshire blue and white engine-turned earthenware jug "Fountain and Statue House" circa 1805-15. Small restoration to base and wear to spout. Ex. Zeller collection. Measures 7" high x 7.5" wide spout to handle.

Early Massachusetts advertising box with red wash

Early Massachusetts lift-top advertising box with original red washed surface, circa 1840. Inner paper reads "W. I. GOODS, which he will sell VERY LOW for cash, Palm Leaf Hats or approved credit. Those wishing to purchase as above, will do well to call and examine for themselves before purchasing elsewhere. All kinds of Country produce taken in exchange for Goods. CHARLES B. MOSELY. New Salem, Aug. 1840." This charming box is 8.5 inches wide, 4 inches deep and 2 inches high.

Nathan Margolis mahogany dining chairs c1940

Set of 6 Nathan Margolis mahogany Chippendale style dining chairs circa 1940. All hand carved by a master cabinetmaker. Note the hand-dovetailed cross stretchers, interior brace blocks, and hand-chamfered back legs. The slip seats can be easily reupholstered. All crafted from the finest single block mahogany, strong and comfortable. Fine estate condition with some expected use wear. The Margolis cabinet shop Hartford, CT, reproduced the finest examples of early period American furniture in the early 20th century. Many were exact copies of pieces in the finest museum collections in America. Dimensions: 38" high to the back, 19" high to the seat, 19.5" wide at the back, 21" wide at the seat, and 17" deep.
