Early Chinese wooden well pulley

Early Chinese wooden well pulley, 17th to 18th century. Carved from a single block of wood. It weighs 43 pounds and measures 17 inches wide, 14 inches deep and 19.5 inches tall mounted on its stand. The wood is so dense and heavy it is nearly petrified. Museum quality classical Greco Roman sculpture reproduction, circa 1960. This is an exact duplication of a marble sculpture of a draped woman from antiquity. It was made from fiberglass or fiberstone with a hand painted perfectly authentic patina. It is a stunning piece. It truly looks like an artifact just recovered from an archaeological dig. It measures 63 inches tall mounted on a steel museum stand, and it weighs about 80 pounds. Excellent condition from a CT estate. Each urn weighs around 250-300 pounds and measures 49 inches high, 32 inches across with 24 inch openings. Purchased in a Newport, RI, antique shop in 1960. This item is on view in our exhibit located at the Old SayBrook Antiques Center in Old SayBrook CT.
