Early Chinese wooden well pulley, 17th to 18th century. Carved from a single block of wood. It weighs 43 pounds and measures 17 inches wide, 14 inches deep and 19.5 inches tall mounted on its stand. The wood is so dense and heavy it is nearly petrified. Large antique cast iron pair of garden urns. Designed with renaissance style rampant lions. Excellent casting and condition. Each urn weighs around 250-300 pounds and measures 49 inches high, 32 inches across with 24 inch openings. Purchased in a Newport, RI, antique shop in 1960.
