Pair of country tiger maple Pilgrim century style armchairs. Curved 4-slat backs, splint seats, sausage turnings. Strongly figured allover solid tiger maple. The chairs are not signed but were made by a true craftsman during the Colonial Revival period in America, circa 1950. Sturdy and comfortable. Each chair measures 47 inches high to the back, 28 inches high to the of arm, 18.5 inches high to the seat, 21 inches wide at the arms, and 20.5 inches deep. The seats retain their original hand cut oak splint seats.
