Vintage 12 arm double tier colonial chandelier hand made by Richard D. Scofield of Period Lighting Fixtures, Chester, CT, circa 1985. Aged tin arms and center double cones; hand dipped candle covers. Measures 16 inches high x 25 inches wide, 4 over 8 arms. Excellent working condition. Richard Scofield made the finest exact copies of period American lighting in the country and was allowed by Historic Deerfield to make copies of its collection. The candles are made from real bees' wax. After he died at an early age, the company continued under different ownership but finally closed.
