Japanese cloisonne vase made by J. Ando, Tokyo, Nagoya, Japan. Commissioned by the Otsuka English Association, Tokyo, for Professor N. H. Blanch in 1931. Stunning design of peacock on brilliant yellow ground with silver mounts. Perfect condition in the original silk padded presentation box. Vase is 7.5" high x 6" wide. Box is 10.75" high x 7.5" square.
