Eldred Wheeler huntboard, or sideboard, in the circa 1790-1810 style. Maple case with four tiger maple drawers. The rich patina looks very much of the 18th century. Measures 38.75 inches high by 44 inches wide by 21.5 inches deep. Please see "Eldred Wheeler / A Collector's Guide" by Emmett W. Eldred, page 214, for reference to this huntboard. Eldred Wheeler made the finest reproductions of period American furniture. It is no longer in business.
