Antique spiral turned column circa 1840. Later platform top and base hand made to match. The center pedestal retains its original hand painted pale blue-gray over red surface. Excellent condition. Very strong and sturdy. Measures 58 inches high with a 12.5 x 12.5 inches square top and 15 x 15 inch square base. This pedestal could easily hold a heavy piece of sculpture or plant.
