Shaker brass kitchen skimmer with iron handle, circa 1825 to 1850, from the Hancock Shaker Village, Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Measures 25.5 inches long and 7 inches across the skimmer. Note the hand hammered rivets that join the skimmer to the handle. Excellent original condition.
