Pair of antique solid brass fireplace andirons. English, early 19th century. Classical style with urn tops and ball and claw feet. The top of one of the andirons has a very small old professional repair. Note the two-part mold line that is seen only in period andirons. Each andiron is 20.5" high x 14" wide x 21" deep, and weighs 18.5 pounds.

Early American 18th century cast iron hearth cauldron, used in a country kitchen for cooking. Original condition with early mold marks and bottom snap line which are found only in early period cast metals. This cauldron retains its original 4 feet on the base. The feet of most period cauldrons have either snapped off or warn down from use in the fireplace. Measures 11.25 inches high, 10.25 inches across and 16 inches to the top of the raised handle.

Artisan made wooden burl bowl with heart cut-outs crafted from a single block of burl. Marked NRL 1971 on base. Measures 17 inches long by 10.25 inches wide by 5 inches high to the top of the handles.

Brass pail or bucket stamped H. W. Hayden Ansonia CT. Circa 1850. Lathe turned spun brass with wrought iron handle. Measures 14" across x 9" high (16" high with the handle raised).

Early American hand wrought steel spatula stamped F. A., 18th century. Stamped kitchen tools of this period are quite rare. Length 19.5 inches.
