Early American country kitchen food chopper signed P. W. Colby. It is very unusual to find early signed kitchen tools. Measures 6 inches across the chopper and 6 inches high. Note the hand welding joint that holds the chopper to the shaft. Handmade by an advanced blacksmith in the early 19thc. It bears an old inventory tag showing it was part of an early collection.
Antique oval copper baking mold with tin lined interior, early 19th century. Hand dovetailed interior rim. Marked 614. Measures 7.75 inches long, 5.25 inches wide and 2.5 inches high. Very good condition.
Early 19thc English kitchen wall pocket. Solid brass with cut-out design. Excellent original condition. Hand cast and forged from heavy solid brass with handmade rivets. Note the wear to the rivets. Just what one wants to see in a period piece. The back plate measures 11 wide x 7.5 inches high. Curved storage area measures 7 inches wide, 3.25 inches deep, and 3 inches high. Weighs 2.2 lbs.
Antique 19th century Chinese brazier. Solid brass. Measures 8 inches high by 15 inches across and has a 10 by 4 inch opening. Excellent condition. Hand made of heavy gauge brass with cast legs attached by copper rivets. Weighs 11 pounds.
Early pair of English brass candlesticks, circa 1760-1780. Each has a petal base with four sides and a concave indented design between the fluted petals. The central column has 4 projections; the largest has 4 flat panels. The top has a fixed candle holder. Measures 8 inches tall with a 4 inch square base. Excellent condition. Note the line mold mark we show in one of the photos.
