The scene depicts George Washington accepting the surrender of Charles Cornwallis and 800 British soldiers, virtually guaranteeing American independence. Portrait of Lafayette verso. Overall 7.5" W x 5.5" H. Some minor paint loss (scratches) as shown.
Antique Chinese export Rose Medallion porcelain lamp circa 1900 in excellent condition. The shade can be used but should be replaced as it is lightly stained. The lamp measures 29 inches high to the finial, 17 inches high to the vase top and 7 inches across; the shade is 11 x 18 inches.
