Text is in Portuguese and English with black and white and color plates; the color plates are tipped in. The linen cover has some discoloration and some of the pages are lightly foxed, but overall the book's condition is good. This is a very scarce publication. Measures 12.5 x 9.5 x 1.5/8 inches.

"Garden Furniture and Ornament," published in 1987 by Apollo, Poughkeepsie, NY. Gold-stamped green linen hard cover book with original dust jacket in fine condition. Expanded edition of the circa 1910 publication of the collections of J. P. White's Pyghtle Works of Bedford, England. Pyghtle Works was the world's foremost purveyor of garden furnighings to homeowners, institutions, and landscape architects, including Gertrude Jekyll, Edward Luytens, and Vita Sackville-West. This edition includes catalogues that were not part of the 1910 edition.

The book pages and binding are in very good condition, the white linen cover is soiled, the edges are good, and the original dust cover has some tears beneath the clear Brodart cover.
