Pr Silver plated Smithtown horse Assn trophies c1928. One reads Horsemandship 1928 and the other Saddle Pony Not over 14.2 Shown by Child Not over 14 1928. This pair of silver plated trophy bowls are well worn from use. Each bowl measures 7 inches across by 3 and three quarter inches high.
Reed and Barton silver and cut glass pedestal dish, or eperne, circa 1880. Measures 8.5 inches high by 9 inches wide. Stamped Made and Pat. by Reed and Barton 3000 on base. The silver plated pedestal is embossed with Indians, some on horseback and some on foot, hunting buffalo.
C Brewer Middletown Coin Silver tongs c1800. C Brewer made some of the finest Connecticut Silver in Middletown from 1778 until 1860. These are early sugar tongs dating from the turn of the 18th to 19th century. The tong end bowls were made separate and attached to the arms. Hallmarked inside C.Brewer. This pair of tongs measures 7 inches long and weights 43 grams. There is a brite cut design and monogram on its upper section. This is a very elegant piece of American Silver.
