Charming folk art painting of the original Spratling Plata Fina silver studio in Taxco, Mexico, circa 1940. Lovely street view of the front of the gallery. William Spratling was one of the most famous of the original Taxco colony of silversmiths. Watercolor on vellum. Signed "V. Flores Taxco" at lower right. Excellent condition in its original frame. The frame measures 14 x 17.5 inches and the watercolor measures 12.5 x 9.5 inches.
