Walnut carved nude female torso by sculptor Norman Legassie (Old Lyme, CT) circa 1991. Norman Legassie's work is in a number of important collections. His last commission was for the bust of the late Senator from Connecticut, Thomas Dodd Sr. The sculpture measures 19" tall. The base measures 4 inches by 5 inches. Vintage pair of mid century modern turquoise table lamps circa 1960. Beautiful Chinese style crackle glazed porcelain, in a rich and vibrant Persian turquoise. The lamps measure 24 inches high by 6 inches wide; they are 38 inches high to the tops of the original finials. Bronzed metal bases.
Chinese enamel household Buddhist shrine. Six-sided form with tent-style "roof" and brass rail. Two doors open to reveal an object of veneration. Early 18th century. Measures 14" H x 11" W. Finial not original.
19th century Japanese stoneware sake bottle with calligraphy. Probably a store bottle which was used to decant sake into a customer's own household bottle. Height 10 inches. No damages.
