American pattern glass two part, four mold compote with scalloped top c1880. Excellent condition. The bowl measures 10 inches across and 5 inches high, the stand measures 5.5 inches high and 6 inches across. Overall height when together is 10 inches high. Excellent condition.

A seminal reference for restorers of period homes. Pages immaculate with images all present, also fold-out chart of important dates in excellent condition. Book cover is discolored, the jacket is torn under a protective plastic cover, and the binding is loose. Measures 8.75 x 11 inches.

Antique Victorian tole painted tin tray circa 1880. Painted free hand, not stenciled. Measures 28.75 inches wide by 22.5 inches deep. Excellent condition. Elaborate gilt scrolls surround a floral medallion, with floral swags and a pair of exotic birds in flight.

Antique pair of faux painted bookends circa 1900. The faux books are Gardiner's History of England Ducie, Vol 111 and Vol IV. The two are so heavy and so well painted to resemble leather bindings and marbelized paper that it is hard to tell they are not real. They are felt lined to protect books, and so strong they can support most any desktop book collection. Each bookend measures 7.5 inches high, 5 inches deep with a 6 inch base. Excellent original condition.

Antique English adjustable brass fireplace fender trivet c1850, stamped 3828 J C S. This trivet was designed to clamp onto the front of a fireplace fender to keep a teakettle or small pot warm. It has a two inch adjustment. Measures 12 inches long with a 5 inch handle and 6 x 7 inch surface.
