Original 19thc English oil on canvas painting. The scene shows four men at a tavern table reading a leaflet for the "Glorious Protestant Cause", an pro-Anglican Protestant movement. Hanging from the wall shelf is a petition to the king. Note the serving woman eavesdropping in the fireplace. The maple frame measures 13.75" high x 13.5" wide. Affixed to the back is a Caelt Gallery, London, label. All original, very good condition.

18th century English mahogany hanging candle box with dovetailed case and hand chamfered cover slide. Some old repairs commensurate with its age. Measures 21" long x 5.25" wide x 4" deep. The candle compartment is 14.5"long.
Early Dutch or English rose brass candlestick circa 1690-1710. Lathe turned in 2 parts, complete with socket hole to remove candle wax, set on a platform tray base. Size: 6" high x 4.25" square at the base. Excellent patina.
