Jean Pierre Zingg floral still life oil on canvas in the original frame. Jean Pierre Zing is a French painter, born in 1925. The scene incorporates a vase of wildflowers, seashells, and a sheet of music against a cubist ground. Probably painted circa 1950, signed lower left. The frame measures 38 by 30 inches; the canvas measures 34 x 27.5 inches. Excellent clean condition. Wonderful hand carved solid wood frame retains traces of true gold leaf and red undercoat. The subtle frame surface perfectly compliments the soft yellows and pinks in the painting.
