This antique document is a report from the deputy jailor of Middletown, CT concerning "licenses" for the month of January, 1883. The piece is hand written on Jail Office stationery. Impressive antique Royal Vienna porcelain pedestal tureen. It measures 15 inches across at the base and 18 inches high. Its hallmark was used between 1812 and 1818. It is in excellent original condition, including the lovely hand painted blue and green floral vine decoration and gold leaf embellishments.
