Japanese Edo period bronze and copper hikite circa 1850. A hikite is a recessed cabinet door pull particular to Japanese furniture. Foo lion motif hand worked in repousse with hand made steel pins joining the panel to the frame. Measures 7.5 x 4.25 inches.
Spanish carved wood modern abstract sculpture signed Pozo 77, hand carved from a single block of wood. Fine detail, airy organic design, carved by a very skilled artist.
