Early 18th century American wrought iron hearth shovel. Old repairs, double rat tail top. Early shovels are very hard to come by. This one was probably used in the fireplace of a large tavern. Measures 52.25" long and 9.5" wide.

Solid brass adjustable pivoting wall hook. English, 19th century. Extremely well made from heavy solid stock brass. The hook slides across the bar to move a suspended item closer or further away. Weighs 4.5 pounds. The back plate is 9" high by 5.5" wide; the arm extends 11" when swung out and 2.5" when folded.
